First motif is Jon Yusoff's dragonfly motif which can be found on her Tat-a-Renda blog. This dragonfly was so easy and quick to tat up. Perfect pattern to use up the leftover thread on your shuttle. I really like how the bigger wings sat on top of the smaller ones.
The second motif is a simple downward picot flower which can be found on Ring of Tatters website here. You will need to scroll down to "Downward Picots" for the simple pattern. This was a fun and quick motif to tat up. It also allowed me to use up the leftover thread from another shuttle. I now have two free shuttles!
Of course I had to take a pic of both motifs and try to create a picture out of it :).
One more motif to go then I better get back to Robin Perfetti's Frauberger Doily pattern. I am nearly finished with the doily :).
That's it for now. Thanks for visiting my blog :).
Cheers,
Jenn :).
P.S. for more info about the challenge, please visit 25 Motif Challenge blog :).
The motifs are so cute, love to see the progress on the doily by Robin, but you must be the kind of person that only post the finished project :) it is funny how fast time flies when tatting or wanting to.

ReplyDeleteThank you :). LOL it's not by choice! I do relief teacher aide work so have limited time to take in progress pics. I will try take a pic of the doily on my next free day :).
DeleteLove your artistry - in tatting & sketching :-) Both patterns seem like fun !
ReplyDeleteThanks muskaan :). LOL I wished I had a digital pen as it would have made it easier to draw :). I am happy as I now have 2 free shuttles to use :).
DeleteGreat dragonfly and flower!!! :) And your picture incorporating the two is great!! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Sue :).
